Basso, A.J.  1979.  Many plant employed pressure filtration processes using high-performance diatomite filteraids, which provide brilliant-clarity liquors at the commercially required flow rates. These diatomite filtration systems are removing suspended solids smaller than one micron at liquid flow rates of from 0.5 to 3.0 gallon per minute per square foot of filter surface area.
