Kampen, W.H.  1978.  Ethyl Alcohol (EtOH) is a very satisfactory fuel by itself and may very well displace petroleum gasoline as the staple motor fuel. EtOH is a non-polluting, renewable source of energy if manufactured from raw materials containing sugars, starches or cellulose. Blends with gasoline can also be used.
