Pendleton, R.L. and Lava, V.G. 1928.  The paper interprets the results of certain fertilizer experiments carried out in the Island of Negros. The method of interpretation used is the mean of difference in yield and the standard deviation are calculated, the value of their quotient determined and the corresponding odds of the significance of the difference found from some standard table.
