Dry Cane Cleaning -  The Mauritius Experience

Raymond Rivalland, J.F.  1999.  An industrial-size pilot Dry Cleaning Plant (DCCP) financed by World Bank for the dry, pneumatic separation of cane trash from cane milling has been built at Union Saint Aublin. Trials during the 1997 and 1998 crop seasons indicate that separation is effective and that the plant may handle cane tonnages of the order of 150 tonnes per hour.
